Ruth Baker married Bruce Jenkin in the Windsor Methodist church on 13th June 1952. Ruth's wedding gown was made of ivory satin and featured a wide tulle yoke edged with a tulle frill and Peter pan collar. The bodice was fitted and the sleeves long and tight fitting. The full circular skirt dipped into a long train and the hemline edged with a tulle frill. Ruth's head piece comprised a lace beaded cap to which the short veil was attached.
