The Mallala Museum held an exhibition of wedding gowns from their collection during History Month May 2018. The event called "Down the Aisle - Wedding dresses through the years" featured 19 gowns displayed throughout the museum.

Maureen Pratt married Bob Collins in the Two Wells Methodist Church on 12th October 1957. Her gown was of lace and tulle. The four tiered tulle skirt had a lace edging. The tulle edged lace overskirt continued to form the train. The bodice had a sweet heart neckline with pearl and diamanté decoration and the fitted bodice dipped to a V in the centre front. The gown was complimented by the small pillbox hat with attached veil.
